What has been happening??

Update of the dentist i went, and i am here writing so i guess you could i survived. Well the short sstory of it is, i went in the she was like you might need root canal and then i quickly prayed to myself ( Jesus! i am not getting a root canal, i am walking out of here with a filling in my tooth) and you know what i did. I would just like to say that havig half of your face numb for about 6 hours is a real horrid feeling! So what is the moral if this story - Keep it real when looking after your teeth!

Ok so its monday and i jsut got back from summercamp - Powerhouse retreat and i can just say it was awesome, and i am not usually pumped about things like this, so obviously that means it was awesome. I feel changed and refreshed and ready to take on a new level this year ( well maybe)

Keeping It Real, Where it counts!

Sad to say...

That i have not written in a while, i guess it lost its lustre or maybe it is that i got bored waiting for other people to write so that i could write back, i guess thats why you have to make you own fun! Yipee!

Well it is another friday yet again, and the dilema still stands... What to do on a friday night...Go to youth or just go home or go to the movies, the options are endless.. For me, that is what makes it hard, even choosing what i am going to eat for lunch is a dilema..Something i hope to improve on this year!

Well i have my saturday planned.. Want to hear the exciting news... I am going to the .........DENTIST...Yikes!!!
So i was sitting at home watchin that 7o's show last night, minding my own business and then all of a sudden a piece of my tooth broke off. The second one from the back on the right side... I feel it will be painful tomorrow and i feel it is to be inevitble(dont think that is the right spelling).

So i wont be eating for a few hours tomorrow....hahaha

I will tell ya how its goes, for notw its goodnight and if i dont see you again keep it real!

Keeping it real - In the GONG!

Well i just thought i would let my fellow bloggers know that i arrived home safely down in the gong! I am glad to say that traffic was a ok! - I thought it might have been a nightmare, but it wasnt!
Well its two days till christmas and i am yet to shop, thank the lord for the long shopping hours!
I am a little bored as everyone has gone to the beach and i am home alone!

This one is for mel - Keepit it real.. in the CUT!

Well i found myself at the seymours yesterday watching some TV aka FOXTEL as they are fortunate enough to have it! - So jealous! We watched this pretty cool TV show called the "The cut" - Kinda like the apprentice - the winner gets to be one of Tommy hilfigers designers.
So to win they obviously have to design stuff to win the competion. I have only watched one episode so i dont know much about their talent from one show, but last night they had to shoot an 'iconic' picture of the BIG APPLE! It was really amazing to see their ideas - i really liked photo from the girl who won - it was a model in grand central station wearing a ball gown made out of an uncut american flag, you just have to see it to understand me.
I guess what i learned is that it is so much easiar to think of ideas than to actually put them into reality, what you want is not always what you are going to get.
I would also like to use this space to complain about channel 7 and them taking off that 70's show from my viewing, very upset! You guys aint keeping it real! Just thought you would like to know!

John Butler 4000 Band!

ok peeps.... So i feel i should tell you about my amazing experience at the John Butler Trio concert at the Hordern Pavillion on Saturday night! It was amazing! (as previoulsy stated)
I was front row as front as you could be, right up to the bar, john was 4 metres away from me, if only i had a camera i would have had the best pictures (taking them could have been tricky though, the security guards wern't very nice! If you played up up they got their torch shined it in your face and pulled you out the concert - in otherwords behave or your out of here!!! - My friend that i went with called libby, we both do hosting and thought it could be a nice little trick for sunday morning church - i dont think it would go down to well though!!)
Ok so back to the concert...The support band was really awesome as well, their genre was australian reggae which sounds like it would be strange, but it was very cool, the lead singer had an amazing voice as well!
What i like to see from a band is that the musicians are actually talented and that they were!
The best part of the concert was when they did an acoustic song, with no instruments and they had just one tiny little mic, John's theory was that he wanted all of us to apart his band, hence "John Butler 4000" - he said were perfect!
I must say though i thought i was in another world when the concert finished and i found myself in a sea of beer cans!!
So if he is ever in town again, i highly recommend it!

Keeping Real, Where it counts!

So....Its the end of another Friday, I jsut finished work again!
To Mel: Yes i did find my thongs - thank goodness, i dont think my bosses would have appreciated me showing up for work barefoot like a cave woman!
And i did find my phone - which is a very good thing! Because i didnt have money for a new one!

So what should i do tonight?

Perhaps stay home and watch some movies?? Sounds very enticing, as i am Dog tired, learning new things totally sucks all the energy out of you.
Just so you know, i have started a new role at my job! It is all very exciting and daunting at the same time - huge shoes to fill! And i haven;t grown since like grade 7! So it will be great to see what happens!
